JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities of this position will support warehouse logistics & planning, inventory control, construction project parts/material. In addition, tool crib and safety equipment management is a function of this position. This individual must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to keep a neat and orderly workspace and warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists in all warehouse logistics including inbound and outbound freight.
  • Provide courier service of project hardware to project construction sites from time to time.
  • Process inbound freight on a timely and daily basis with communication to the field project teams.
  • Supports inventory management filing system
  • Inventory all miscellaneous materials/hardware for the field
  • Manages office field safety equipment inventory for the field and supports the check-out/check-in of all field safety equipment.
  • Coordinates and communicates expected delivery date expectations of materials/hardware orders back to the field teams.
  • Assists in the filing of service paperwork
  • Supports the services and construction department in various tasks.
  • Process packing lists for orders and freight to the project achieve folders for the appropriate projects.
  • Other operational support duties as assigned by the Business Operations Supervisor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 years of related work experience in warehouse logistics preferred
  • Must be highly organized and keep a clean/neat work area.
  • Ability to operate independently and autonomously and yet possess the discretionary judgment to know when it's appropriate to consult with others in the organization and/or escape to the Business Operations Supervisor.
  • Demonstrates a corresponding high sense of integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.
  • Must have a valid CA Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (MS Suite, PDFs, Google Suite)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • You are a responsible person with the ability to multi-task. You understand that regular & routine attendance is required.

HOURS:

Monday through Friday beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs.

Competitive Wages:

$24.75 to $32.63 per hour. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
