Overnight Warehouse Forklift Operator – C&S Wholesale Grocers

Location: 3300 NW 123rd St., Miami, FL

Shift: 2nd Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Position Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you will use a stand‑up forklift to move and store full pallets of stock throughout the warehouse inventory reserve racks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport merchandise to designated warehouse locations.
• Track inventory accurately using a handheld computer and other technology.
• Stack and rotate merchandise, either manually or with material handling equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Stage finished products in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures for forklift operation.
• Occasionally perform safe lifting of varying case weights, shapes, and heights.

Physical Demands

• Continually stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot up to 90 % of the shift.
• Frequently lift products weighing between 1–60 lbs. or more.
• Perform lifts ranging from floor level to overhead.
• Work on multiple levels of varying height.
• Safely handle sharp objects, including box cutting tools.

• Perishable (refrigerated) area: 28–60 °F.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team‑oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.

• Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
