Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain office supply orders and inventory, including general office supplies, coffee and breakroom services, machine maintenance, and associated invoicing and billing.
  • Organize and plan various types of meetings and events, both virtual and in-person, including securing locations, catering, meeting supplies/equipment, and conference room preparation.
  • Successfully oversee conference room needs and usage to support meetings and events.
  • Confidentially and responsibly handle company correspondence, including incoming and outgoing U.S. Postal Service mail, package deliveries, and internal/external email for various levels of leadership and employees.
  • Create, structure, and edit presentations and materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Assist with prioritizing tasks and resolving issues on behalf of Iridium leaders and team members.
  • Review expense authorizations and prepare expense reports for the leadership team.
  • Assist leaders with projects and responsibilities on an as‑needed basis.
  • Coordinate corporate events and social activities, onsite and occasionally outside the workplace.
  • Help draft and disseminate company communications such as announcements, events, and notifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and relevant professional support experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a professional administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Scheduling Assistant).
  • Internet/computer savvy with ability to troubleshoot and utilize technology resources.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when resolving issues.
  • Clear presentation of data, ideas, and arguments.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships, accept feedback, and continuously improve.
  • Accountability and self‑awareness to recognize and correct mistakes.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and be resourceful.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a high‑level executive.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
  • Experience managing and shipping mail and packages, including FedEx.
  • Relentless curiosity and confidence to bring ideas to the table.

Additional Requirements

  • Occasional early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekend hours as needed.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
