Job Details

• Title: Accessibility Tester
• Location: Denver, CO REMOTE
• Duration: 12 Months
• Must be Colorado residents with local state ID/DL

Responsibilities

• Perform manual accessibility testing using assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
• Conduct automated accessibility scans using approved tools to identify WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 violations.
• Review design specs, wireframes, and UI components for accessibility compliance.
• Document accessibility defects with detailed steps, severity, reproducibility, and remediation guidance.
• Create and maintain accessibility test plans, reports, defect logs, and best‑practice documentation.
• Collaborate with development, QA, business, and product teams to resolve accessibility issues.
• Provide expert guidance on accessibility standards, inclusive design, and remediation strategies.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of WCAG, Section 508, Agile/Jira, API/Web Service testing, and traceability practices.
• Support testing across platforms including Java, Mobile/PWA, Salesforce, ensuring compliance across all applications.
• Participate in accessibility review meetings, provide status updates, and deliver work aligned with OITs quality standards.
