Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot power systems, including switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Collect data from electrical equipment.
- Ensure equipment and systems are safe and reliable according to NETA standards.
- Conduct start-up procedures for new electrical equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- NETA Level 2 or 3 certification.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, testing equipment (multimeters, insulation resistance testers), and electrical safety procedures.
- Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills.
