Quality Assurance (QA) Tester – LATAM

Full-Time | Remote (LATAM)

We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Quality Assurance Tester based in Latin America to join a product and engineering team building a web-based healthcare platform for a US-based technology company.

This is a long-term, full-time remote contract role for a QA professional with strong manual testing experience, exposure to automation, and the ability to collaborate closely with distributed teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of a web-based healthcare application.
• Plan, write, and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test plans.
• Execute multiple types of testing, including functional, regression, UI, and API testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Validate bug fixes and support release cycles.
• Participate in requirements analysis, grooming sessions, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Provide mentorship or support to junior QA team members when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be based in LATAM and available to work until at least 6:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Experience owning or setting up QA processes.
• Background in Healthcare or Pharma projects.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar QA management systems.

Contract Details

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Remote (LATAM)
• Required overlap with US Eastern Time until 6:00 PM
• Long-term contract
• Hourly Rate: USD $20 – $30 per hour
