Job Description

We are looking to bring on a full-time Office and HR Manager and Bookkeeper to support the entrepreneurial owner of Kari Whitman Interiors, a luxury interior design firm located in Boulder, CO. If you favor a dynamic environment, feel most at home in a management role, and are comfortable handling intricate details this is the fit for you!

The ideal candidate for this role will be extremely confident working on Google Drive (gmail, google calendar, sheets, etc) and Microsoft Excel. Management capabilities including handling HR responsibilities like onboarding are essential for success in this role.

This position is fully in-office and may require longer hours at times (40-50hrs per week). We value transparency and want to ensure that candidates are aware that this is a highly important position for our company and will require a high level of support. Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day to day office operations
  • Taking charge of HR processes including payroll and onboarding and overseeing and managing staff
  • Overseeing, tracking and managing bookkeeping and accounting using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for multiple clients and projects. Please note we do NOT use QuickBooks—you MUST be comfortable working out of Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ensuring billing is accurate and timely
  • Overseeing office financials including monitoring expenses, purchases, and credit cards and handling reconciliation
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Extremely competent with Google Drive, Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Microsoft programs, etc
  • Have continual access to a laptop computer and vehicle and be willing to use and carry a company cellphone
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Feel comfortable and confident in working and handling tasks independently with little to no supervision
  • Must be open to handling work related issues that may arise in evenings or on weekends
  • Must be comfortable working with dogs in the office
  • HR/Office Management and bookkeeping experience are required for this role (5+ years strongly preferred)

Hours

  • Our office is open 10am-7pm, M-F, but we anticipate the person in this role will regularly work 40-50hrs per week (staying late and/or coming in early to make sure tasks are completed).
  • We work hard for our clients, so there may be occasional evenings/weekends that will require your support.

Compensation

  • $75,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience, skillset, and work history
