Locums Wound Care Outpatient - No Call Batavia, OH Why This Role Full-time outpatient wound care assignment with flexible weekday schedule Treat a broad range of acute, chronic, and surgical wounds with multidisciplinary support Opportunity to supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy within a well-equipped facility Assignment Details Start Date: 12/22/2025 End Date: 03/31/2026 Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic Patients per Day: 15-30 EMR: Epic Trauma Level: N/A Estimated Credentialing: Temporary privileging potential Requirements Active Ohio license BLS (required) ACLS (preferred for HBO) Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Comprehensive outpatient wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy Common Wounds: - Acute, surgical, traumatic, and non-healing wounds - Ulcers (arterial, venous, diabetic, pressure) - Burns, gangrene, radiation injury, pilonidal cysts, and chronic venous insufficiency Treatments and Procedures: - Debridement and incision/drainage - Skin grafting and bioengineered skin applications - Unna boot, total contact casting, and post-surgical incision management - Hyperbaric oxygen therapy supervision - Negative pressure-assisted wound closure Responsibilities: - Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans - Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention - Implement preventative strategies to reduce recurrence Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
