Base Pay Range
$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into insights that will drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs, collect and clean data, perform analysis, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather data from primary and secondary sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and maintain the integrity and security of these datasets.
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting any code errors.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Use statistical tools and methods to analyze complex data sets, interpret trends and patterns, and provide valuable insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with management, engineers, and other teams (e.g., marketing, finance) to prioritize business needs and implement data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and define new process improvement opportunities related to data collection, analysis, and reporting systems.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of SQL, experience with data visualization tools (Snowflake, Tableau), proficient in data analysis and science tools (Power Query, Power BI, etc.), understanding of data warehouse.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Preferred
- Programming: Experience with programming languages such as SQL, SOQL, and statistical analysis, and the ability to navigate queries in other platforms.
- Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Experience: Prior experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or data reporting role. Additionally, database management and experience with data warehouses are preferred.
