CGI has an immediate need for a Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side‑by‑side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally. Our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Warehouse team in Reston, VA (hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote). In this role, you will collaborate with business users, analysts, and developers to troubleshoot data variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions. You will work closely with the Data Management Manager to ensure data integrity and improve overall product quality.
This position requires strong analytical skills, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Data Analysis experience.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to read and interpret Informatica code for troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.
- Experience with Toad and comparing data across multiple sources.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for agile project management.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodology and ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: Experience in Multifamily or Single‑Family mortgage domain.
- Knowledge in AWS.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (required).
Compensation
Reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 – $108,300.00.
