About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive data‑informed decision‑making across operations, product, and research functions. This role combines hands‑on analytics, dashboard development, and advanced modeling to solve complex business and operational problems.

The ideal candidate has experience building end‑to‑end analytics solutions—from data ingestion and ETL to modeling, visualization, and executive‑level reporting—and is comfortable collaborating across technical and non‑technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Modeling

• Apply data science methodologies to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities using structured and unstructured data.
• Design, train, test, and evaluate machine learning models including classification, clustering, regression, forecasting, anomaly detection, and deep learning.
• Perform inferential statistical analysis including hypothesis testing, power analysis, Bayesian inference, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Conduct performance comparisons of statistical and machine learning algorithms to support high‑impact business and product decisions.
• Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines and analytics tools using R, Python, SQL, and cloud‑based services.
• Transform raw data into clean, analysis‑ready datasets through data wrangling, validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Build automated data workflows and reusable analytics frameworks to support ongoing reporting and analysis needs.
• Design and deploy interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, R Markdown, Shiny, and web frameworks.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to track operational performance, quality metrics, and bottlenecks.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across operations, engineering, and leadership.

Business & Operations Impact

• Support inventory management, forecasting, quality control, and resource optimization initiatives through data‑driven insights.
• Perform cost‑benefit and risk analyses to quantify the impact of proposed solutions.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to define analytical requirements and translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Advise teams on appropriate statistical techniques and best practices to support product development and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and data analysis libraries.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS preferred).
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and applied mathematics.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
• Proven ability to communicate complex analytical results to non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (CNNs, NLP, forecasting models).
• Familiarity with Spark, Scala, or big data processing tools.
• Exposure to software development practices, version control (Git), and agile workflows (JIRA).
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, life sciences, or quality‑driven environments.
