What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Long Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and develop key performance indicators dashboards
- Create and automate dashboards in PowerBI for tracking metrics and driving business recommendations
- Build and maintain reporting using tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and PowerBI
- Handle ad‑hoc requests and participate in strategic initiative projects by providing data analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2–5 years of professional experience in developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Excellent analytic and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify trends
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing SQL and optimizing established SQL queries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with PowerBI and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with claims strategy and financial goals within the insurance industry
- Previous experience in a similar data analyst role within the insurance or financial services sector
