What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Support Long Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and develop key performance indicators dashboards
- Create and automate dashboards in PowerBI for tracking metrics and driving business recommendations
- Maintain reporting using tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and PowerBI
- Participate in strategic initiatives by providing data analysis and insights
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2-5 years of professional experience in developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing SQL and optimizing established SQL queries
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends using data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Familiarity with data visualization tools beyond PowerBI
- Understanding of Long Term Care Claims processes and strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with senior management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
