The Pacific West Region is recruiting for summer seasonal SEASONAL Physical Science Technician, GS-1311-5/6/7 positions intended to assist permanent staff with Physical Science Technician field work.

Duties

The typical seasonal period for North Cascades Nat'l Park, Whiskey Nat'l Recreation Area, and Devil's Postpile Nat'l Mon. is April-October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Sequoia-Kings Canyon, Yosemite and Mount Rainier National Parks is May-Nov.

• Devils Postpile National Monument, Mammoth Lakes, CA – Grade levels include GS 07. View this link for salary. Government Housing MAY be available. A Driver's License is Incidental. You will work weekends, evenings, and Overtime. A Uniform will be required and supplied through the park.
• Mount Rainier National Park, Longmire, WA – Grade levels include GS 05/06/07. View this link for salary. Government Housing WILL be available. Recruitment Incentives will not be offered. Telework will be offered by Supervisory approval. You will work Overtime.
• North Cascades National Park, Marblemount, WA – Grade levels include GS 06/07. View this link for salary. Government Housing MAY be available. A Driver's License is Incidental. You will work Overtime. There will be approximately 5 days of travel a month.
• Sequoia National Park, Three Rivers, CA – Grade levels include GS 05/06. View this link for salary. Government Housing MAY be available. Recruitment Incentives will not be offered. You will work weekends evenings, holidays and other. There will be approximately 12 days of travel a month.
