Join Intuit as a Seasonal Business Tax Expert and help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products. You will provide expert guidance, handle complex business tax returns, and shape the direction of our newest product, TurboTax Live Business.

What You Will Do
- Prepare and file complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations using sound professional judgment.
- Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
- Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary information responsibly and securely.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers using everyday language.
- Interact with customers and team members professionally while adhering to Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”
- Document all customer interactions accurately to maintain reliable records.
What You Need
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
- Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
- At least 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience (minimum 30 returns per year) in a practice or retail setting is strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
- Bookkeeping experience that ties books to tax preparation is strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week (minimum 4‑hour shift increments) throughout the tax season.
- Working knowledge of Circular 230.
- Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
- Strong customer service skills; ability to interact with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation
Competitive compensation package with pay‑for‑performance rewards:
- Bay Area, California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
- Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
- Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
- Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
- New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
- Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
- Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
