Receptionist - Per-Diem at Casa de las Campanas

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hr. AM & PM shift availability. Additional pay differentials of $0.50 per hour for the PM shift and $0.75 per hour for the NOC shift.

Who You Are

  • High school graduate
  • Two or more years of customer service work experience at a concierge, front desk, or similar position
  • One or more years of PBX experience is desirable
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for telephone and in-person contact with residents, staff, and visitors

Job Summary

The Receptionist greets and directs residents and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include answering calls, monitoring emergency call panels, addressing resident and visitor questions, performing routine office and administrative support, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both South and North lobbies (the incumbent may be assigned to more than one location). This position requires a working knowledge of the activities performed at each reception desk.

Essential Job Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls politely and friendly
  • Welcome residents and visitors warmly and answer questions
  • Maintain lobby, reception area, and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
  • Monitor annunciator panels for emergencies and fire alarms, responding quickly in accordance with facility policies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally via 2‑way radio to other departments
  • Monitor lobby security
  • Operate standard office equipment, including fax, copy machine, and computers
  • Keep accurate records of visitors through Accushield
  • Receive, log, and distribute deliveries, mail, and prescriptions
  • Take inventory of reception supplies and restock as needed
  • Maintain resident census reports
  • Coordinate information distribution between the reception desk and departments
  • Maintain the general reception filing system
  • Provide general administrative support to staff and residents as needed
  • Provide lunch and dinner reservations for dining rooms
  • Accept tray order requests on Saturday and Sunday
