Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative leadership to approximately twenty‑five mechanical and electrical engineers and analysts.
• Coordinate direct report employee recruitment, training, performance assessment, work assignments, staffing, salary, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate with programs on technical and staffing requirements, ensuring adherence to engineering development processes, and collaborate with cross‑functional organizations, including engineering drafting and manufacturing leads.
• Review business pursuits and proposals for structure and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience within Defense or Aerospace industries as IPT Lead or Hardware Engineering Manager.
• Expertise executing the hardware development process.
• Strong foundation in relevant technical principles with knowledge of varied theories and concepts.
• Demonstrated history of continual development as an engineer.
• Extensive experience presenting complex technical details and/or data to engineering, executive leadership, and customer representatives.

• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
