What You’ll Do
The Hardware Quality & NPI Operations team is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful introduction of next‑generation hardware across CoreWeave’s rapidly scaling AI infrastructure. This team develops end‑to‑end strategies, processes, and capabilities to deliver world‑class hardware quality, seamless product ramps, and reliable capacity for both internal and customer‑facing computing environments. Partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Center Operations, Program Management, and Supplier Quality, the team drives operational excellence and high reliability at scale.
About the Role
The Director of Hardware Quality & NPI Operations will lead CoreWeave’s efforts to ensure world‑class hardware quality and seamless new product introductions across our AI infrastructure. You will define enterprise‑wide quality strategies, establish reliability programs, and implement frameworks for continuous improvement. In partnership with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, you will drive the operational readiness, ramp plans, and launch execution for all new hardware platforms. This role also includes building and scaling the Hardware Quality & NPI Operations team, establishing cross‑functional governance, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure high‑quality, reliable hardware at scale.
Who You Are
- 12+ years of experience in hardware quality, NPI operations, manufacturing engineering, or a related field; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience building a hardware quality or NPI organization from scratch or scaling one rapidly.
- Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle—from design through production, test, deployment, and field operations.
- Experience in hyperscale, cloud infrastructure, semiconductors, servers, or high‑reliability hardware environments.
- Strong command of quality systems, reliability engineering principles, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Proven ability to execute complex hardware ramps under aggressive timelines.
- Excellent cross‑functional leadership, influencing ability, and stakeholder communication.
Preferred
- Experience with AI hardware ecosystems (GPUs, accelerators, networking, storage).
- Familiarity with large‑scale data center operations and hardware fleet reliability.
- Prior experience implementing ERP/MES/QMS systems for operations scale.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.

What We Offer
The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $264,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
