Senior Buyer, Commercial Hardware Procurement

About The Job

We are seeking a highly motivated senior buyer to join our Commercial Procurement team. This position is ideal for someone hungry to grow, eager to learn, and ready to thrive in a high‑growth, mission‑driven company.

What You’ll Do

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve quality, delivery, and pricing issues.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues quickly to keep projects on track.
• Track orders and expedite to meet deadlines and production schedules.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
• Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to relocate if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Salary Range

$129,000—$171,000 USD (base salary only; equity grants may be offered).
