Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and engaging candidates to interviewing and onboarding exceptional staff. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our workforce and building a strong talent pipeline that supports our mission. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent HR experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including cold calling and high-volume sourcing.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to interpreting recruitment metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ADP is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a non-profit HR environment is a plus.

Paid Time Off

  • Up to 80 hours of vacation during the first calendar year of employment. Employees accrue an additional 8 vacation hours each subsequent calendar year, up to a maximum of 120 hours.
  • Up to 40 hours of personal time per calendar year.
  • 10 paid holidays.

Pay

$60,000 - $65,000/year

What You Will Do

  • Manage and handle all tasks related to recruitment cycle from posting the position to making the offer.
  • Review resumes and contact candidates to ascertain fit and interest and refer to hiring managers as appropriate. Extend offers and negotiate compensation in coordination with HR Manager and/or Director.
  • Maintain career page on website.
  • Develop consistent interview processes, questions, templates and training for all hiring managers.
  • Analyze recruitment data at all stages of the process to complete monthly reports, including recruitment sources (Indeed) and prepare recruitment dashboard.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations.
  • Represent the agency at job fairs and develop relationships with placement offices, colleges and universities.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as ADP to streamline recruitment processes, manage candidate data, and support efficient placement workflows.
  • Ensure data entry and tracking for seamless operations.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness).
  • Proactively source passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs.
  • Understand external labor market conditions and leverage effective, economical, and appropriate sources/channels and methods.

Westbury, NY (Nassau County)

Work Hours/Schedule

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
