HR Business Partner – Voya Financial

About the Role
The HR Business Partner collaborates closely with HR colleagues and managers within designated client areas to assess and address the HR implications of business strategies. This position ensures that assigned client groups possess the organizational and human capabilities necessary to meet both current and future business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Align HR strategies with overall business objectives in collaboration with the Lead HR Business Partner.
- Manage technical HR functions including performance management, leadership development, coaching, and compensation.
- Support initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement, and retention.
- Champion Voya’s values: inclusion, collaboration, continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS) to deliver seamless HR solutions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in HR practices.
- Monitor HR metrics and labor market trends to inform business decisions.
- Support HR due diligence and integration activities during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
- Expertise in performance management, compensation, talent development, M&A integration, organizational effectiveness.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and industry-specific regulations.
- Proven ability to drive results, reliability, proactivity in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent consulting, coaching, and communication skills.
- Data‑driven mindset with HR analytics experience.
- Strong customer service orientation and partnership skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
Compensation
Annual base salary range: $95,000 – $115,000. Additional incentive opportunities include annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives based on performance.
