About the Company

Our client is a global, engineering-driven organization operating in a highly technical manufacturing and R&D environment. The business is scaling through growth and integration, and success depends on operational rigor, disciplined change management, and leadership alignment at every level.

HR is not a support function here. It is expected to operate with the same precision, judgment, and business acumen as the organization itself.

About the Role

They are hiring a Senior HR Manager to partner with Director- and VP-level leaders across a multi-site U.S. footprint, with a primary focus in Texas.

This role goes well beyond site-level execution. It is a true senior business partner seat, deeply involved in organizational change, integration, and policy harmonization in a complex, evolving environment.

You will be expected to:

  • Lead through ambiguity
  • Influence without formal authority
  • Bring calm structure and sound judgment during periods of transition

If you are most comfortable in steady-state environments, this will not be the right role.

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership & Change Leadership

  • Serve as a senior HR business partner to Director- and VP-level leaders
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership decision-making
  • Lead and support large-scale change initiatives across functions and locations
  • Anticipate people-related risks before they become operational issues

Integration & Harmonization

  • Play a hands‑on role in M&A integrations, including people strategy, communications, and execution
  • Drive harmonization of HR policies, practices, and programs across legacy organizations
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, practical deployment of programs
  • Support restructuring, growth, and transformation initiatives without slowing the business

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide senior-level guidance on complex employee relations matters
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. labor and employment regulations across multiple locations
  • Partner with Legal and HR leadership on risk mitigation and policy governance
  • Coach leaders through difficult performance and conduct issues with clarity and sound judgment

Talent, Leadership & Culture

  • Support succession planning and leadership development for critical roles
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, safety, and performance
  • Influence leaders to adopt consistent people practices while maintaining operational momentum

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a global organization
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders in complex, matrixed environments

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with M&A integrations, change management, and policy harmonization
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. labor and employment regulations
  • Ability to influence senior leaders through credibility, judgment, and presence β€” not authority
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, evolving organizations
  • Clear, direct communication style and strong decision-making under pressure

Pay Range & Compensation

πŸ’° $150,000–$170,000 base salary βž• Up to 15% annual bonus

Equal Opportunity Statement

Our client is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.

Final Word

This is a senior-level HR role for a leader who knows how to navigate complexity, earn trust quickly, and help an organization move forward without losing momentum or credibility.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you enjoy β€” or you know someone who fits this exactly β€” message me directly.
