Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in decision-making to improve the organization and develop a comprehensive rollout plan for new HR approaches, ensuring clear communication and leveraging technology platforms to streamline the rollout process.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights from employees, allowing continuous improvement of HR strategies.
  • Monitor rollout progress and adjust strategies as needed, using feedback, performance metrics and any unexpected challenges.
  • Celebrate milestones and successes to boost morale and create a positive perception of changes. Leverage internal communication to share success stories and highlight achievements.
  • Evaluate impact of new approaches through employee satisfaction and organizational goals, making data-driven adjustments.
  • Handle employee relations escalations, provide guidance, resolve conflicts, ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, including hotline claims, onsite and by phone.
  • Handle leave escalations with the Benefits Manager.
  • Travel to visit markets at least once a month to meet leaders and employees, understand market structure and address concerns.
  • Attend senior leadership staff calls and provide HR updates.
  • Hold standing one-on-one calls with senior leaders.
  • Conduct training and refresher sessions on performance management and other topics as needed.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency across the region.
  • Maintain and update RIF tracker and analyze RIF and furlough files to ensure policy guidelines and laws are adhered to; submit RIF and furlough files to HRC, forward documents to management.
  • Train assigned HRG(s) on HR related processes and procedures, ensuring consistency.
  • Review and analyze direct and indirect CA checks and balances.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and HR best practices to enhance effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Act as strategic partner, offering insights on talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Must be in Central Time Zone.

Work Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3–5 years as an experienced HR practitioner. Extensive knowledge of employment laws. Experience in telecommunications or multi‑site company preferred. Strong teamwork and initiative in multi‑tasking.
  • Knowledge of HR administration practices including recruitment, salary, training, benefits and employee relations. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, work independently. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, high energy, initiative, motivation, high ethical standards, confidentiality, proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, some Oracle or HR database experience a plus.
