Overview

Serves as a strategic link for the region between the Talent team and business teams by partnering directly with all levels in a hands‑on role. Aligns people strategies with firm goals by advising leaders, coaching managers, analyzing data, managing employee relations and supporting talent and performance initiatives and processes. A self‑starter able to influence and drive change, deal with ambiguity, and demonstrate results to the business. Possesses and applies a diversified knowledge of human resources principles, practices and procedures to complete assignments with originality and ingenuity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR point of contact for regional offices to field general HR questions and inquiries and partner with Talent teams as needed to support processes (e.g., training, exit interviews, remote work requests, accommodations).
  • Partner with leadership and employees on employee relations and sensitive personnel matters, maintaining consistency with HR Leadership and the HRBP team.
  • Guide leaders on corrective actions for behavior/performance issues in accordance with firm guidance and ensure necessary documentation is maintained.
  • Advise leaders on performance management and coordinate planning and execution of performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, evaluations) to ensure meaningful check‑ins.
  • Capture HRBP team data within the Case Management platform.
  • Maintain, monitor, and proactively react to HR metrics, trends, and performance to create key action items for the HRBP team (e.g., focus areas for training).
  • Ensure compliance with regional, state, and city legal requirements and industry regulations, collaborating with the global Talent team; responsible for regional HR compliance reporting.
  • Handle complaints and inquiries fairly and empathetically.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with management and employees to prevent and address conflicts and disputes; may partner with the HRBP team on mediation or resolution facilitation.
  • Provide ongoing education to teams and offices on culture and overall employee engagement.
  • Support regional office leadership with succession planning by providing HR data, advice, and counsel.
  • Contribute to the implementation of changes in policies and regulations governing compliance.
  • Collaborate with the global Talent team to update policies, manuals, and guidelines to align with business and regulatory changes.
  • May collaborate on special projects with the global Talent team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically 6+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and relevant employment laws for the region.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive problem‑solving and innovation mindset.
  • Team orientation and independence, with strong prioritization and deadline management.
  • Up to 30% travel may be required.
  • Required to be in the Dallas office 3+ days per week.
