Overview

Allied Universal® Facility Management and Janitorial Services is committed to delivering exceptional cleaning, landscaping, and restoration services for commercial facilities. The Janitor position involves performing all‑purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside one or multiple client sites. Responsibilities can vary based on client specifications.

Pay Rate: $19.00

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean all waste containers, remove waste paper, and damp wipe containers.
• Empty and clean ash trays, monitor sand urn supplies, and restore sand as required.
• Dust all image frames, charts, graphs, and wall hangings.
• Damp dust ceiling and air‑conditioned diffusers, partition grilles, registers, and other ventilating louvers.
• Vacuum mats and carpeted areas in workplace locations, lobbies, and corridors.
• Hand dust and clean office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills, and all other flat surfaces.
• Wipe, clean, and buff all metal hardware fixtures and bright work.
• Appropriately clean and polish tile floor surfaces as required.
• Damp wipe and buff all glass furnishings.
• Clean entry door glass inside and outside.
• Remove stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, private entry glass, and dividers.
• Wash, clean, and sterilize all water coolers.
• Sweep private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted.
• Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping.
• Clean and sanitize, and restock supplies in bathrooms.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a janitorial type position.
