We are hiring immediately for part‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at Texas Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands, TX (17600 I‑45). Online applications are accepted only.
Schedule
- Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 am–1:30 pm, or Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 am–3:30 pm. Flexible.
Pay Range
$13.00–$13.50 per hour

Job Summary
Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions
- Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
- Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extracts, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
