Position
Leasing Consultant — The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Property Leasing and Administration
- Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
- Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease
- Close sales: generate appointments, new leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up as needed
- Complete all leasing paperwork needed before move-in
- Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours
- Utilize sales/marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve leasing goals
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed
- Address resident concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, monthly newsletter)
- Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model
- Marketing & Outreach: implement annual marketing plan outreach and market analysis
- Maintain thorough property knowledge, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey
- Customer & Resident Relations: provide excellent service and maintain response times
- Project a favorable image of the community to meet property objectives
- Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisor
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
- Regular movement to accomplish tasks, communicate with others, and operate tasks
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and other structures; stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Occasional movement to work in various environments; lift or move objects up to 25 lbs; operate vehicles as needed
- Work overtime, weekends, and night hours as emergencies arise; work in extreme temperatures and outdoor environments

Salary Range
$18 per hour to $20 per hour
