As a Full Stack Web Engineer, you’ll have significant ownership from day one—designing, building, and scaling robust, secure web applications that provide mission-critical data visualizations and fleet management dashboards vital to real-world safety, cybersecurity, and resilience.

What You’ll Focus On

• Own the end-to-end development of complex full-stack web apps, including high-impact dashboards and visualization tools
• Architect backend systems (Go, Node.js) for secure, reliable data processing and serve actionable analytics at scale
• Build intuitive, high-performance frontend interfaces using modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Integrate machine learning, anomaly detection, and compliance features in collaboration with engineers and data scientists
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code; operate independently in a high-growth environment
• Work closely across engineering, product, and design to define and ship new features for customers who depend on Shift5 for mission success

Who You Are

• 5+ years full-stack engineering experience, ideally in high-integrity, data-heavy, or safety/security-critical environments
• Proficient in Go and/or Node.js with strong React (Angular/Vue.js welcome); expertise across backend and frontend
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and ship production web apps end-to-end
• Prior experience in fast-growth tech companies and long-term tenures valued
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
