Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
• Render opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department.
• Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, examinations under oath, and defend by trial or dispositive hearing as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• 2–6+ years of relevant litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury (required).
• Juris Doctor degree (required).
• Admission to the Georgia bar (required).
• License in good standing to practice law in Georgia and meet mandatory CLE requirements.
• Ability to travel for trials, hearings, depositions, management meetings, and conferences.
• Excellent written documentation skills; ability to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Civil litigation experience.
• Insurance‑defense‑related litigation experience.
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
