What is the role?
The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets within their designated territory. This role involves managing the entire sales process, including customer engagement, quoting, order processing, product shipment, training clinical staff and distributors, supporting Aerogen distributors, launching new products in collaboration with the Marketing team, building strong relationships with physicians and clinicians, employing strategic selling skills, and proactively creating sales opportunities. Additionally, the Account Manager is expected to conduct peer‑to‑peer and promotional events and handle other tasks as requested by their manager.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Responsible for achieving sales revenue quota for Aerogen products within assigned territory.
- Manage entire sales process: gaining customer interest, providing quotations, collecting orders, managing shipment, customer implementation and training of clinical staff and distributors.
- Drive and support Aerogen distributors.
- Launch new products in coordination with Marketing within the territory.
- Establish strong relationships with physicians and clinicians.
- Use value‑based and strategic selling skills.
- Innovatively create new sales opportunities for Aerogen products.
- Perform any other duties at the request of the Manager.
- Conduct peer‑to‑peer and promotional events in the region.
What education and experience are required?
- Minimum of a BA/BS Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar commercial role within the medical device industry.
