Experienced Restaurant Manager

Location: Apex Entertainment, Virginia Beach

Apex Entertainment is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven Restaurant Manager to join our team! In this leadership role, you will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensure smooth daily operations, and support a positive, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service across all restaurant areas.
  • Ensure all food and beverage items are consistently prepared, portioned, and served according to company standards.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date staffing plan for daily operations.
  • Partner with the F&B Manager to prepare schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members based on organizational needs.
  • Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Uphold proper cash-handling procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns, taking appropriate steps to resolve issues and encourage return visits.
  • Communicate guest complaints and resolutions to the F&B Manager and General Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitary food-handling practices and maintain clean, orderly kitchen and dining areas.
  • Maintain compliance with operational standards, company policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, service, and overall presentation-including staff uniforms.
  • Assist in coordinating private events and act as the liaison between Sales and Operations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, food preparation processes, and all beer, wine, and liquor offerings.
  • Support overall restaurant and beverage operations as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food & beverage and/or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required.

Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
