Responsibilities
Hospitality
- Promote Cote’s core values and culture, including excellence in food, beverage, service, and hospitality.
- Liaise between the front‑of‑house and culinary teams during service.
- Provide and oversee service for all VIP customers on property.
- Develop positive customer relationships and address service needs; respond to feedback as needed.
Operations
- Oversee daily restaurant administration (payroll, opening/closing, floor plans, walkthroughs, etc.).
- Manage hourly employees, providing clear direction.
- Create systems of accountability and provide consistent feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action.
- Perform all back‑office POS functions including employee profiles and menu creation.
- Plan, execute, and communicate promotions and company information.
- Conduct Department of Health walk‑throughs daily to ensure compliance; address violations immediately.
- Promote safe work habits, identify hazards, document accidents, and investigate incidents.
- Ensure team members understand products and services.
- Maintain adherence to Cote drink and food recipes and procedures, upholding quality standards.
- Participate in community events and support corporate social responsibility goals.
Staff Management
- Hire, train, supervise, coach, counsel, and evaluate front‑of‑house hourly employees; inspire the team.
- Act as an outstanding service role model and continuously elevate service standards.
- Monitor, coach, and encourage management and frontline staff to meet service standards.
- Resolve team member or customer conflicts in line with Cote’s complaint guidelines.
- Build morale and a supportive work environment.
- Train new employees as assigned.
