You will serve as a Food Quality Assurance Worker in the Midshipman Food Services Division of The United States NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
- You will prepare and cook Brigade menu items, including a full range of bakery products following approved recipes.
- You will inspect food for quality and freshness, cut meat, portion food, and schedule cooking procedures to ensure food is ready at the correct time and temperature.
- You will assist cooks and food service workers in the utilization of local forms for calculating quantities of recipe ingredients.
- You will apply proper subsistence storage techniques, maintain cleanliness, and ensure sanitation in compliance with regulations.
- You will conduct inventory audits to identify and report discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
