Responsibilities

• Construction and repair of manufacturing fixtures and automated equipment.
• Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic component assembly.
• Work with engineers, machinists, leads and the customer to complete the build process.
• Layout and wire electrical control panels.
• Construct mechanical assemblies and assemble pneumatic circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to solve assembly issues.
• Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met.
• Install electronic parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Stay on task to meet project schedule.

Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Proficiency in operating drill press, band saw and other machining equipment.
• Ability to terminate and troubleshoot instrumentation devices.
• Experience with control panel wiring and associated devices.
• Reading of electrical schematics for systems ranging from 5 Vdc to 480 VAC and pneumatic components.
• Reading of pneumatic schematics.
• Capability to build mechanical assemblies using mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet build schedules.
• High school diploma or GED required.
