Customer Service Representative (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: 100% Onsite — Princeton, NJ
Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour (W2)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team onsite in Princeton. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, delivering exceptional service, and working in a collaborative office environment. You’ll handle inbound inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or service issues, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Process orders, returns, and adjustments with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure timely resolutions.
- Provide product/service information and guide customers through processes.
- Uphold company standards for quality and compliance in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2+ years in a customer service or call center environment.
- Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written), active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus.
- Ability to work onsite daily in Princeton, NJ.
