Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and/or companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items (raw and pre‑cooked) and product placement per policies, and use FIFO for stock rotation.
• Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area: digital passport photo, poster print, creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
