What You’ll Do

• Lead the general accounting function, including cost accounting, cash management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP to safeguard company assets.
• Drive budgeting and financial analysis across departments, helping management make sound, data‑driven decisions.
• Manage monthly and year‑end close processes, audits, and government reporting.
• Partner closely with operations and cost accounting to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
• Supervise and mentor a small accounting team (GL, AP, and Cost Accountant).
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ in a management capacity.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems (experience with Plex, EPICOR, or other integrated platforms a plus).
• Manufacturing experience. Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.
• Confident communicator and hands‑on leader — able to motivate teams and collaborate cross‑functionally.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 a year
