Manufacturing Planner Sr

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Sr to join the Demand Planning team in Palmdale, CA. As part of the Supply Chain team, you will provide material requirements planning (MRP) support to one or more Palmdale programs and ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Attend and chair status meetings, advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing or procurement process by interfacing with all supporting organizations.
• Utilize SAP, shop floor management (SFM), and other software to perform planning and support tasks.
• Act as a self‑starter with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be a US citizen and the position requires special access to a Lockheed Martin facility.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience in two or more of the following areas: Demand Planning, Materials Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyer or Subcontract Management.
• Experience with SAP.
• Analytical skills and advanced Excel skills.
• Problem solving and written/oral communication.

Desired Skills

• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• ERP implementation.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Secret clearance.

Security Clearance Statement

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Work Schedules

Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate

Annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $73,800 - $130,180. For most major metropolitan areas the range is $84,900 - $147,085.
