A Level 2 NICU is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Prestonsburg, KY.

The facility anticipates approximately 200 deliveries per year for unassigned patients. Currently, one OB covers all unassigned L&D patients. NICU level is Level II. Anesthesia coverage includes daily onsite coverage with 24/7 call. Internal Medicine residents may rotate through L&D with OBHG involvement. OBHG providers will see new and routine patients in the outpatient setting, with gynecologic responsibilities including surgery, consults, and outpatient clinic. Backup coverage for multiple emergencies will be provided by employed OBs. OBHG will not provide backup for private or hospital-employed CNMs or family practice physicians.
