A health system is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in upstate New York.

This cardiology position provides both inpatient and outpatient coverage, managing 1015 clinic patients and 1012 inpatients daily, while performing 13 procedures such as PTCA, stents, caths, echoes, stress tests, and EKGs in a modern lab setting. The role requires strong procedural and diagnostic skills, participation in a 1:2 STEMI call rotation with variable call shifts, and availability for 12 weeks of coverage per month, with experience in nuclear imaging and TEE considered a major advantage.
