Pediatrician needed in Herkimer, New York

• Located in the Foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains
• 65 miles from Syracuse; 80 miles from Albany, NY
Position Details:
• Full-time, permanent
• Outpatient pediatrics at the clinic in Herkimer, NY. Office hours are 8 AM 5 PM Monday through Friday. Four 10-hour day work week option is available
• After hours call 1:6 weeknights/weekends for back up coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital. The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365 along with a daytime hospitalist. The on-call pediatrician provides support in Cooperstown on evenings and weekends
• Medical student instruction with academic appointment to the clinical faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
