We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our healthcare team in Omaha, Nebraska . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients experiencing mental health disorders. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for patients across various age groups.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate overall care.
Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices in mental health care.
Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
License: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Nebraska .
Certification: Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) .
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends or on-call, depending on facility)
Competitive salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually With Productivity Bonus
