The Restraint Design Release Engineer (DRE) – Side Airbags is responsible for the design, development, and release of side airbags to support Stellantis vehicle programs. The DRE will w
ork with the Stellantis engineering organizations and supply base to package and develop the side airbag system and
interface with teams such as purchasing, product design office, manufacturing and supply base groups to achieve program objectives. The DRE is
responsible for the review of testing, parts, data and best practices to meet program requirements, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), ECE and other global certifications and w
ill be responsible to assure that all program milestones, deliverables and targets are met for side airbags including cost, weight and investment.
