OB/GYN Hospitalist – Kelsey‑Seybold – Rice Village Join Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic, a part of the Optum family, to provide hospital‑based obstetric and emergent gynecologic care. This role supports comprehensive obstetric care in the hospital setting, managing labor, performing C‑sections, and delivering emergent gynecologic services with a focus on women’s health throughout adulthood.

Position Highlights

Provide hospital‑based obstetric and emergent gynecological care.

Participate in regional OBGYN team rotations, performing hospital‑based duties.

Round on inpatient obstetric patients, manage scheduled labor inductions, and perform planned C‑sections.

Admit and manage labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group.

Work 24‑hour shifts with an expectation of 7 shifts per month, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire.

Licensed in the State of Texas.

Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Must have completed residency and be practicing or be in residency when applying.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation generally ranges from

$278,500



$484,500 . Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and may increase over time based on productivity and performance. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
