Salary
Hourly: $21.00 – $25.00
Shift differential: $3.00 per shift, eligibility applies.

Primary Job Responsibilities Safety
Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers.
Ensure gas pumps, lot, and store areas are clean and free of debris.
Conduct mandatory monthly safety meetings and trainings.
Report safety incidents promptly and comply with all safety policies.
Leadership and Personnel Management
Train, develop, guide and evaluate employees.
Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors.
Prepare and submit employee paperwork accurately and timely.
Provide continuous on‑the‑job and company‑required training.
Motivate, provide feedback and recognize employees.
Address performance and violation issues.
Set and communicate performance expectations.
Coaching and training for promotion readiness.
Execute all company policies.
Customer Service and Site Relationships
Deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
Operate POS system accurately, including cash handling procedures.
Develop positive relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors.
Manage cash, monetary, and inventory during shifts.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Promote product knowledge and suggestive selling.
Solve customer complaints swiftly and effectively.
Participate in community image promotion.
Promote Kama’aina Rewards program.
Business and Management
Plan and manage store activities to maximize profit.
Assist in pricing strategy development.
Monitor fuel and merchandise sales and competitor offerings.
Maintain store layout and displays.
Execute store‑level sales promotions.
Manage inventory and operating expenses.
Submit accurate daily sales reports and bank deposits.
Safeguard all financial transactions.
Maintain site files and manuals.
Receive merchandise per vendor check‑in procedures.
Obtain required product certifications.
Facilities Management
Maintain appearance standards for paving, lighting, canopy, etc.
Report facility issues.
Ensure equipment is safe and operational.
Maintain dispensing and store equipment cleanliness.
Post required signage and decals.
Personnel Assistance
Support teamwork and training for new associates.
Assist with labor scheduling to meet demand within budget.
Physical Demands
Stand or walk for entire shift.
Visual acuity 20/40 (corrective lenses acceptable).
Communicate information to others.
Respond to safety procedures.
Frequent overhead reaching, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity.
Frequent squatting and kneeling.
Push/pull up to 20 pounds; lift 20 lbs or less frequently; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Climb a stepladder when needed.
Qualifications Applicant must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Valid driver’s license.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in retail sales and cash handling.
Basic math proficiency.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
