Description Our client supports mission-critical cybersecurity initiatives across large federal enterprise environments. The team works closely with DHS CISA integrators and other external partners to strengthen identity, access, and compliance capabilities. This role supports high-visibility identity and access management programs that improve security, auditability, and operational resilience.

Location: Onsite in Washington DC

Pay: $75 - $80 an hour

Contract-to-hire opportunity Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with DHS CISA integrators and external stakeholders to implement and maintain ILM and MUR solutions

Integrate SailPoint IdentityIQ with ServiceNow, Active Directory, PAM tools, and other enterprise systems

Support ILM workflows for privileged accounts and directory services, including building and maintaining system connections

Maintain and enhance CDM Dashboard integrations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with DHS CISA requirements

Deploy SailPoint software updates, monitor system health, and produce operational and compliance reports

Identify, document, and support remediation of security vulnerabilities related to identity systems

Provide on-call and after-hours support as required, including participation in annual disaster recovery testing

Document disaster recovery procedures, system configurations, and operational processes

Serve as a subject matter expert, recommending and implementing improvements to identity and access solutions

Ensure adherence to enterprise change management processes and operational standards

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience providing business solutions engineering support, including architecture design, engineering design, proof-of-concept development, pilots, analysis, and documentation

Demonstrated experience translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions within large enterprise environments

Strong background conducting evaluations of competing technologies, developing analysis of alternatives, and producing clear technical recommendations

SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer certification

At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing integrated lifecycle management solutions using SailPoint in large, complex enterprise environments

At least 3 years of hands-on SailPoint system administration experience, including integrations with Active Directory and HR systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating SailPoint with CyberArk or other PAM solutions

Strong troubleshooting skills related to SailPoint connectors and third-party integrations

Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, including account management, Group Policy, schema, PKI, and PowerShell scripting

Working knowledge of database administration and modeling, with emphasis on SQL Server 2019

Experience with database backups, indexing, integrity checks, installation, configuration, and performance troubleshooting

Ability to understand and work with data models and entity relationship diagrams

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
