A Busy Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location
The facility is located in Auburn, NY. About the Clinician's Workday
Candidates must be boarded or true BE. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 1-2 weekday calls from the hotel and one weekend hotel call per month. OB coverage is 24/7. The case mix includes general B&B anesthesia with a strong focus on regional and OB, including frequent epidurals, spinals, and blocks such as interscalene and femoral; scheduled Csections may require a spinal. The facility runs 5-6 ORs with a team of 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs. Typical community hospital cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Endoscopy, GI, and required OB epidurals, with no major cardiac, no major trauma, and limited pediatrics. The model is medical direction, with one MD supervising 23 CRNAs, MDs handling higheracuity cases, and CRNAs performing general, regional, and MAC cases within state scope. Additional Job Details
