Overview AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group seek a dynamic, energetic full‑time Pediatric Urologist to join the team at AdventHealth for Children. Call coverage, outpatient practice, and surgeries take place at AdventHealth for Children, with full‑time APP support. The new physician will grow the clinic practice and develop relationships with community physicians, supported by outreach clinic marketing. AdventHealth for Children is nationally ranked in US News and World Report for Neonatology and is the #1 ranked hospital in the state of Florida for Neonatology.
Responsibilities Call coverage, outpatient practice, and surgical procedures at AdventHealth for Children Grow clinic practice and develop relationships with community physicians
Qualifications Fellowship training in Pediatric Urology Diplomate of American Board of Urology Recipient of Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Urology Strong communication skills Dedication to high‑quality patient care
Practice Description This is an employed opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). Hospital Description Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full‑service tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds, a 102‑bed NICU, 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system. Key destination programs include a Level IV epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants, and a region‑wide NICU expansion to 150 total beds in 2017. AdventHealth for Children has been recognized by US News and World Report as the best children’s hospital for newborn care in Florida and is a magnet designated hospital for nursing care.
