Our client is a multi-stage venture capital platform partnering with investors and innovators across the lifecycle of private technology companies through fund commitments, direct investments and secondary transactions. About the Role Reporting to the Founder, the Vice President will lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of secondary opportunities across technology sectors, with a particular focus on growth‑stage companies and late‑stage venture portfolios. This role is ideal for an analytical, entrepreneurial, extroverted, and self‑directed investor who thrives on building relationships, generating ideas, sourcing deals, and operating in a dynamic, fast‑paced investment environment. The Vice President will play a central role in expanding deal flow, identifying growth‑oriented secondary opportunities, assisting in fundraising, and strengthening the firm’s market presence within the evolving venture ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with investors, general partners and intermediaries to identify high‑quality opportunities in the secondary market.
Build market intelligence on transaction trends, pricing, liquid dynamics within the venture secondary landscape.
Lead financial modeling, valuation, and diligence across secondary transactions.
Manage end‑to‑end deal processes, from structuring and negotiation through closing and integration.
Work closely with legal and financial advisors to ensure transaction structures are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned with investor objectives.
Help drive internal investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Track performance of existing secondary holdings.
Identify opportunities for follow‑on investments, early liquidity events, or structured exits to optimize portfolio returns.
Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to firm leadership and investors.
Contribute to fundraising materials, investor presentations, and thematic research on emerging areas such as AI, digital assets, and frontier technology.
Work closely with senior leadership to help refine investment strategy, evaluate new verticals, and shape the firm’s broader perspective on innovation and growth.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in venture secondaries, growth equity, or broader private markets investing.
Proven track record in executing complex secondaries transactions.
Deep familiarity with the venture ecosystem, including existing relationships across fund managers, founders, and intermediaries.
Strong analytical skills paired with strategic and macro‑level thinking.
Highly communicative and naturally extroverted; thrives on building networks and driving external engagement.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a preference for lean, collaborative investments.
Bachelor’s degree required.
