Digital Consumer Experience Specialist

Major Responsibilities
Coordinate website projects such as landing pages, microsites and/or new functionality and pages on Advocate’s consumer-facing websites
Help implement a pipeline of new, innovative website products such as online scheduling, physician ratings & reviews and video visits on Advocate websites.
Collaborate with Digital Design team to develop wireframes, ensuring flow and functionality deliver high levels of customer experience.
Manage timelines and tasks related to implementation to ensure projects are completed on‑time.
Lead testing of new functionality before pushing to production to ensure highest levels of quality. Conduct on‑going “regression testing” to ensure websites are bug and issue‑free.
Communicate on‑going status of projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, needs and/or delays, escalating issues as appropriate.
Manage web content utilizing Advocate’s content management system (CMS)
Lead content updates for nurse and physician‑facing websites
Manage calendar of content updates for these websites ensuring updates are made on time
Communicate on‑going status of updates, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, needs and/or delays, escalating issues as appropriate.
Help innovate, optimize and manage website experiences based on digital analytics
Manage SEO reporting process with Search agency. This includes ensuring Advocate receives timely and relevant reporting, with actionable insights. Deliver a monthly executive report of the best/worst performing campaigns, along with actions taken as a result.
Ensure all functionality on websites is properly tracked based on specific digital goals, including setting up goal funnels and custom reports in Google Analytics.
Analyze how our shift to mobile is progressing month‑over‑month, identifying key areas of opportunity or optimization.
Collaborate with Digital Analyst to ensure SEO results are reported monthly within overall Digital Dashboard, highlighting key results and actions.
Drive a mobile‑first mentality
Coordinate with digital design team to develop creative options to support A/B test scenarios, implement, track and report on results.
Work with Digital Experience Manager to develop a consumer journey map identifying all mobile touch points.
Collaborate with Digital team and vendors to implement new/enhanced mobile functionality on our websites, managing the process, testing and timelines to ensure timely delivery and quality experience.
Education and Experience Required Bachelors degree with 3 years experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Significant knowledge of Search Engine Marketing, especially in the area of local search.
Significant experience in managing and optimizing SEM campaigns for large, transaction‑oriented brands.
Significant knowledge of digital media planning and buying from online publishers and ad networks.
Significant experience in trafficking, optimizing and reporting on results.
Significant knowledge of A/B testing strategies of large‑scale digital executions.
Significant knowledge of Google Analytics, or similar digital analytics tools.
Significant experience in creating dashboards to effectively communicate performance.
Google Adwords Certified
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to travel to other Advocate sites for meetings. Assist with Advocate sponsorship events at various locations around Chicagoland area.
